ABOUT ME
My mission is to encourage relaxation and self-healing through massage therapy. I am grounded, focused and attentive to the individual needs of my clients with compassion and integrity.
Relying on a positive presence, maintaining a relaxed setting with an atmosphere of tranquility, listening carefully and asking clarifying questions (if necessary), I respect the wishes of the client and use the different modalities available to me to achieve the desired result.
I believe that massage therapy provides an important release within reach for everyone who has ever suffered an exhausting day or unexpected emotional trauma, and I am dedicated to calming and easing tension.
The name, "Relax & Picture This" is derived from my two-fold business. For many years, prior to and since attending Kalamazoo Center for the Healing Arts, I have used my talents to create original picture framing and craft projects. It was, and still is, gratifying to see the results of that work come together.
In the process of realizing the closeness of nature and human touch, my whole life entered a new phase, and I found a better balance of activity, rest, healthy relationships and the advantages of natural health practices. This has all helped me grow into a more caring and considerate person, and this is the person you will meet when you come to my massage table.
